Sample - Hot Pepper - 'Chinese 5 Color' Seeds

QTY: 8-10 Seeds

Often thought of as an ornamental, this cultivar does not lack in the flavour department and is a staple in our container, food, and landscape gardens. Easily provides colourful punches of interest from early summer through late fall, and provides bountiful yields of fiery treats! Peppers start out as stunning purple flowers and form peppers that ripen from purple to white, to yellow, orange, and finish red. Fruits are delicious and hot at all stages.

All of our 'Chinese 5 color' pepper seeds are capable of producing deep purple cotyledons, iridescent leaves, and splashes of lavender on their calyx. Only about 50% of Chinese 5 color plants sourced from other companies produce these traits reliably.

Drought, disease, and pest resistant.

This pepper is fairly spicy at 50,000 Scoville Heat Units. Heat tolerance is subjective so tread carefully.
